7. Build a network of support. We have mentioned that this type of work takes place in a lonely, but that does not mean you should be isolated. Visit colleagues, join communities of entrepreneurs like you, often to their friends. That is, establish a network of emotional support and professional support in the decisions you take.
Similarly, it is advisable to subcontract certain support services, in particular, on matters of accounting, tax and technical support.
The chambers of commerce could be another option which enables you to establish business links in your industry and learn about the most important events in it. If you decide to join a franchise or license, other entrepreneurs could make professional company members.
8. Plan your workplace. No matter if it’s an entire room or corner, the important thing is to do a physical space to work. Do not skimp on ergonomic equipment to maintain your good posture and make you comfortable performance.
9. Establish a routine. Decide at what times and what days you shall work, how it will structure each day. Lean on computer programs, electronic organizers or paper.
While this routine will have some level of flexibility, it will be very important, especially during the first days of March.
10. Generate electronic presence. You must have Internet access and an e-mail itself, preferably with the protocol of your business. Maybe in a first phase is not as important that your company has a website.
11. Promote your company. Target certain amount of time daily to promote your products and services.
12. Pamper your boss and welcomes your sales force … that is, pamper yourself. Take this attitude make up for the massive effort involved in developing your own business. Each time you make a good sale, go to celebrate, get a gift. If you’re too stressed out, allow yourself an hour off for a walk or go to the gym … this is very important to not lose sight of the positive and fun to do what you like, without heads, master of your time and your life. All so you can say there is no place like home.
